Terms and Conditions
By entering the "Elf on the Shelf Competition," you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

1. Promoter Details
The competition is organized and run by BrickTopia (PTY) Ltd.
The competition is not affiliated with, endorsed, or administered by Instagram.

2. Competition Dates
The competition starts on 1 December 2024 at 12:00 AM and ends on 15 December 2024 at 11:59 PM.
Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.

3. Eligibility
Participants must:
Be 18 years or older.
Reside in South Africa.
Follow both @bricktopia_za and @importatoy on Instagram.
Ensure their Instagram account is set to public for the duration of the competition if you are sharing where the elf is on your story. Accounts that are private will not show a bonus entry.
Employees of BrickTopia, their immediate family members, and individuals involved in the administration of the competition are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter
To participate in the competition:

Find the Elf in Store
Visit the competition page on the website and click the link to start the hunt.
Locate the hidden elves in-store and track their locations.
Instagram Entry - COMPULSORY
Go to the pinned competition post on Instagram.
Comment on the post with the total number of times you spotted the elf.
Participants can post up to 3 comments only. Additional comments will be disregarded.
Bonus Entries
Visit the store, find the elf, take a photo, and post it on Instagram.
Use the hashtag #BrickSperience to earn an additional entry.
Bonus entries can be submitted daily as the elf changes locations.

5. Prizes
The prizes are:
3x R500 vouchers
2x R1000 vouchers
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash or other items.

6. Winner Selection
Winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries and announced on 16 December 2024.
Each winner will be contacted via direct message on Instagram.
Winners must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture, and a new winner may be selected.

7. Verification
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants, including the right to request proof of age, residence, and tracking of elf locations.
Any participant found to have violated the rules will be disqualified.

8. General Rules
Participants are responsible for ensuring their comments and posts comply with Instagram’s community guidelines.
The Promoter will not be held responsible for any technical issues or delays affecting entry submissions.
Any inappropriate, incomplete, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

9. Liability
The Promoter will not be liable for:
Any loss or damage resulting from the participation in the competition.
Issues with prize delivery due to incorrect participant information.

10. Privacy
By entering, participants consent to the use of their name, Instagram handle, and photos for promotional purposes related to the competition, without additional compensation.

11. Modification of Terms
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice, in circumstances beyond its control.
